PS8650 is an advanced DisplayPort 2.1a MST hub designed for dock, accessory, graphic cards, and display applications. It features one DP 2.1a input port and four DP output ports, supporting DP2.1 to DP1.4 MST conversion. With a link rate of up to 20Gbps/lane, it can handle up to 12 DP audio-video streams, both compressed and uncompressed. The hub ensures reliable transmission with FEC decoding/encoding and supports video routing, allowing flexible stream conversions. It also supports single video splitting across multiple outputs, achieving resolutions up to 10k x 2k at 60Hz with HDR, and offers secure content protection with HDCP. With ultra low power performance greatly saving system power consumption without degrading performance.
