The PS8826 addresses high-speed signal switching and signal integrity requirements for the implementation of a USB Type-C® (or USB-C®) connector on a USB host, hub, or device that supports a single or dual lane of USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps). The device includes a signal retiming repeater that compensates for cable and PCB signal loss and other sources of signal distortion.
