The PS8719 is a bidirectional USB 3.0 repeater/redriver which integrates two channel equalizers and drivers to re-condition USB 3.0 signals with a data rate of 5.0Gbps.  The PS8719 is offered in two variants, the PS8719A and PS8719B, which are functionally identical but with different supply voltages; a 1.5V single supply for the PS8719A, and a 3.3V single supply for the PS8719B.  As a common system application, the PS8719 is placed close to the USB connector to compensate for PCB electrical signal losses in the traces routed to the USB host, hub or device silicon.
